Asif Nazrul, legal advisor of the interim government, thinks that the media was silent during the case of the former captain of the national football team, Aminul Haque. Asif Nazrul said this when the subject of the case against Shakib came up during a question and answer session with journalists at the secretariat today.

After that, a lawyer sent a legal notice to BCB to bring Shakib back to the country for the sake of investigating the case, after excluding him from the national team as he was accused in the murder case. However, BCB president Farooq Ahmed told Prothom Alo yesterday that Shakib will play for the national team until he is found guilty. BCB will also provide him with all kinds of legal assistance if needed.

While answering this question, Asif Nazrul brought up the topic of Aminul, the goalkeeper of the winning national team in 2003, former captain and active in BNP politics. Regarding the case, he said, 'It is the Awami League that started it, right? Aminul the footballer, Shakib has not brought anything for Bangladesh state. Shakib himself has achieved a lot. Aminul brought the award for the state of Bangladesh. Did not bring? He was the captain of the national team. Did you question the way Aminul was tortured? Aminul has been jailed, a case has just been filed against Shakib.
Recalling the silent role of the media during the case against Aminul, the legal advisor said, "When Aminul was arrested, he was not giving bail day after day. day after day I myself have only written columns in Prothom Alo. I have not seen any of you writing in your newspaper. A national team (footballer)...Bangladesh became the champion in the Saf Games (football)...in his year....Championship. Arrested... rejected bail day after day.'
