The West Indies stayed with the run rate required but couldn’t stop leaking wickets and was all out for 192 in the 16th over.

“A fantastic win,” Buttler said. “You don’t play in too many of those games. It was like being at the Hong Kong Sixes. Great to be going into the last game of the tour at 2-2.”

England captain Jos Buttler: "A fantastic win. It was like being at the Hong Kong Sixes tournament wasn't it?! We showed so much character. Phil Salt again, to back it up with two hundred in a row is a phenomenal effort. I am really proud of the group to go 2-0 down and show the reaction we have. To show the bravery, courage and ultimately skill level as well to be able to execute it. I am delighted for the guys and it's a really confident changing room.

"I am very happy doing that [playing second fiddle to Salt] and it's been an enjoyable partnership with him. We've done it in The Hundred and stuff together and at Lancashire so we know each other's games really well. He's playing brilliantly well so full credit to him.

"I gave him the gloves today to get a different perspective as captain, to try it out in the field. I wanted to gather as much information and seeing what it feels like just running around and being a bit closer to the bowlers. We'll see how it goes. I don't mind either. To be honest it doesn't make that much difference either way.

"Both teams have played some really good cricket throughout the series and it's great to be going into the last game of the tour with it 2-2 and all to play for. A perfect Christmas present would be a series win
