The ninth edition of the Women's Twenty20 World Cup will begin on October 3. The tournament was supposed to be held in Bangladesh. However, due to political instability and security crisis, it was evacuated to the United Arab Emirates. Bangladesh women's cricket team left the country to play that World Cup.

On Thursday (September 26) at 10 am, Niger Sultana Jyoti's team left for the United Arab Emirates. Before that, Bangladesh captain Jyoti said about the goal in the World Cup.

However, Bangladesh's past performance in the World Cup is not very promising. Bangladesh did not win even once in the last four T20 World Cups. But this time Bangladesh captain wants to break that trend. The target was announced at a press conference in Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla last Tuesday.

In this year's World Cup, Bangladesh team is in Group 'B'. Whereas the other four opponents of Bangladesh are England, Scotland, South Africa and West Indies. Bangladesh's first match is on October 3, against Scotland.
