The current contract period of women cricketers with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is 23 months. The central contract has commenced from 1 August 2023. It will end on June 30, 2025. However, the PCB is supposed to review the central contract after 12 months. Women cricketers are not being paid because that review has not been done.

PCB told Print Media , "Work is in progress. After finalizing the list, the players will be offered contracts from July 1, 2024. A PCB official told Print Media that the reason for the salary arrears was, "There is a lot going on and too little time to handle everything."

According to PCB policy, the country's boys and girls cricketers do not get daily allowance during the training camp. Because, at that time PCB arranged their stay and food. The Pakistani girls were in the camp from September 1. Due to this, they did not get daily allowance at this time. However, support staff have been given daily allowance during this period.
