Temba Bavuma out of final Ireland ODI
South Africa captain Temba Bavuma will miss the team's final ODI against Ireland after suffering a delicate tissue injury to his left side elbow. The 34-year-old sustained the injury during the second ODI after landing on his elbow while diving to make the crease at the non-striker's end. He didn't take the field in the subsequent innings.
Bavuma will, in any case, fly out of the UAE on Tuesday with the remainder of the squad and counsel a specialist. He currently faces a race against time to be good for the Test series in and against Bangladesh starting on October 21. Reeza Hendricks has been called up as his replacement and will arrive in Abu Dhabi before Monday's clash that will see captaincy obligations handled by Rassie van der Dussen.
South Africa, who have already sealed the ODI series 2-0, will also not have the administrations of all-rounder Wiaan Mulder, who has already returned home because of personal reasons.
