profile Yashasvi Jaiswal India

Yashasvi Jaiswal's cricketing journey is an inspiration to many. Coming from a humble background, he goes through struggles to achieve his dreams. The Mumbai boy was in the news for his inclusion in the Indian U-19 squad for the tour of Sri Lanka in August. Coming through the junior cricket ranks, Yasswi has scored 49 centuries in the last five years, but he has not fared as well for the national team.

In his first two matches, the youngster could muster meager scores of 15 and 1, which saw him dropped from the team before his 114 in the final helped him secure his place in the team. In the ACC U-19 Asia Cup, Yasswi got off to a good start with his second century against Nepal. With a phenomenal U19 World Cup campaign in 2020, Yasswi made a huge statement to everyone that he had indeed arrived. Selection for the Royals in the IPL was another boost and the youngster will be eager to make his talents count if he gets the chance.
